At WheelTribe, we keep our Terms & Conditions simple, fair, and transparent. Our goal is to make booking wheel and tyre services as straightforward as possible, with no hidden fees or confusing rules.
1. Introduction
1.1 These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the WheelTribe platform and services. 1.2 By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. 1.3 If you do not agree, you must not use the platform.
2. Definitions
2.1 “WheelTribe” refers to the marketplace platform. 2.2 “Platform” refers to the website and associated services. 2.3 “Customer” refers to any user booking a service. 2.4 “Service Provider” refers to independent garages or mobile technicians. 2.5 “Booking” refers to a confirmed service request paid through the platform.
3. Our Role as a Marketplace
3.1 WheelTribe operates as an intermediary marketplace connecting Customers with Service Providers. 3.2 WheelTribe does not directly carry out any services listed. 3.3 The contract for services is between the Customer and the Service Provider. 3.4 WheelTribe facilitates bookings, payments, and support but is not responsible for service delivery.
4. Bookings & Payments
4.1 Full payment is required at the time of booking. 4.2 A booking is only confirmed once payment has been successfully processed. 4.3 Prices are based on the information provided at the time of booking. 4.4 Additional charges may apply if the condition of the wheel or vehicle differs from the information provided. 4.5 WheelTribe reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings where necessary.
5. Rescheduling of Bookings
5.1 Both Customers and Service Providers may request to reschedule a confirmed booking.
5.2 Rescheduling is permitted up to: a) 24 hours before the appointment for standard services (e.g. repairs, mobile work) b) 48 hours before the appointment for workshop-based or extended services (e.g. powder coating, refurbishment)
6. Cancellations & Refunds
6.1 Customers may cancel a booking subject to the conditions below.
6.2 Cancellations made: a) Outside of the rescheduling window may be eligible for a full or partial refund b) Within 24–48 hours of the booking may incur a cancellation fee or be non-refundable
6.3 If a Service Provider cancels a booking, WheelTribe will: a) Offer a suitable alternative provider, or b) Offer a full refund
6.4 Refunds will be processed within a reasonable timeframe using the original payment method.
6.5 WheelTribe may deduct reasonable costs already incurred, including provider time or administrative fees.
7. Service Delivery
7.1 All services are carried out by independent Service Providers. 7.2 WheelTribe does not guarantee service quality, timing, or outcomes. 7.3 Any service issues should first be raised with the Service Provider.
8. Customer Responsibilities
8.1 Customers must provide accurate vehicle, wheel, and service information. 8.2 The vehicle must be accessible at the agreed time and location. 8.3 Failure to provide accurate information may result in additional charges, delays, or cancellation.
9. Pricing & Additional Work
9.1 Prices are based on standard service conditions. 9.2 Additional charges may apply for: a) Severe damage b) Non-standard or oversized wheels c) Additional labour or materials 9.3 Any additional work must be agreed before proceeding.
10. Warranty & Guarantees
10.1 Any warranty is provided solely by the Service Provider. 10.2 Warranty terms may vary depending on the service. 10.3 WheelTribe does not provide warranties on services.
11. Missed Appointments & Access
11.1 Customers must ensure access to the vehicle at the agreed time. 11.2 Failure to attend may result in a missed appointment fee. 11.3 Mobile services require a safe and suitable working environment.
12. Wheel Condition Disclaimer
12.1 Services are based on visible wheel condition at the time of booking. 12.2 Hidden damage may only become apparent during service. 12.3 Additional repairs or replacement may be required.
13. Diamond Cut Wheels Disclaimer
13.1 Diamond cut wheels can only be refurbished a limited number of times. 13.2 Each refurbishment removes a layer of metal. 13.3 Results may vary depending on wheel condition and history.
14. Limitation of Liability
14.1 To the fullest extent permitted by law, WheelTribe is not liable for: a) Service quality issues b) Delays or missed appointments c) Damage caused during service
14.2 Liability is limited to the amount paid for the booking.
14.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
15. Intellectual Property
15.1 All content on the platform is owned by WheelTribe. 15.2 Content may not be copied or reused without permission.
16. Privacy & Data Protection
16.1 Personal data is processed in accordance with UK GDPR. 16.2 Please refer to the Privacy Policy for full details.
17. Changes to Terms
17.1 WheelTribe may update these Terms at any time. 17.2 Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updates.
18. Governing Law
18.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales
